![]() There has been an explosion of interest in World of Tanks Blitz. The latest update represents the first major release since the game's launch. World of Tanks Blitz launched back way back in December 2014 as the mobile version of the popular PC hit, World of Tanks. A brand new map called Castilla was included in the update. Wargaming wouldn't expect you to blow up all these new tanks on familiar terrain, though. Recognisable names include the Churchill, Black Prince, Conqueror, and the FV214b. The British line includes nine iconic British tanks from throughout history. Update 1.6 launched on iOS and Android on the 21 st of January. Early last month, the developer released World of Tanks' 8.4 update, which added British and German tanks and four new locations.Wargaming's award-winning mobile tank battler, World of Tanks Blitz, has been updated with an all new map and a selection of British tanks. has not revealed the update's release date. Items like large repair and first aid kits were previously available for purchase only with gold. Update 8.5 will also add a new map, Pearl River, and three existing maps - Siegfried Line, South Coast and Malinovka - will receive "revamped visuals and shading effects." For the first time, players will also be able to purchase premium consumable items with silver credits. The German tech tree will receive medium-sized tanks, like the Leopard 1. World of Tanks, 's free-to-play online tank-battling game, will introduce new German and Soviet tanks alongside a new map in update 8.5, according to a press release from the developer.
